What is a lab island table used for?

Laboratory furniture manufactured to the room, from a measured site drawing — island tables, wall benches and storage. Granite worktops, powder-coated steel cabinets, reagent shelving with sockets, polypropylene sinks and gooseneck service taps, fabricated here and installed by our own fitters. Typical uses include new laboratory fit-outs, college and university science departments, diagnostic lab refurbishment, pharma qc benches.

What is fixed before a lab island table is built?

Every unit is made to order, so these are agreed with you before fabrication starts: Bench size, Worktop, Cabinet MOC, Finish, Reagent shelf, Sink, Service fittings, Electrical points, Plinth, Installation.

Can I get a lab island table in a non-standard size?

Yes. We fabricate in our own workshop in Kodungaiyur, Chennai, so a one-off size is a normal order rather than a special case — the unit is built to suit the room instead of the room having to suit the unit.
