What is a lab refrigerator used for?

Upright single glass door cold cabinet, built with six adjustable wire shelves and twin forced-air fans for an even temperature across the chamber. Chamber volume, shelf count and temperature band are all set before we build. Typical uses include reagent and vaccine storage, blood bank and pathology sample holding, media and culture storage, pharmacy cold storage.

What is fixed before a lab refrigerator is built?

Every unit is made to order, so these are agreed with you before fabrication starts: Chamber volume, Temperature range, Temperature control, Shelves, Cooling, Door, Insulation, MOC, Refrigerant, Power supply.

Can I get a lab refrigerator in a non-standard size?

Yes. We fabricate in our own workshop in Kodungaiyur, Chennai, so a one-off size is a normal order rather than a special case — the unit is built to suit the room instead of the room having to suit the unit.
